Feng Shui
Consultations – what to expect?
A Feng
Shui consultation is an opportunity to explore
your specific life issues and the way in
which your environment has a direct impact
on the quality of your life. It is a gentle
and natural process.
With each type
of consultation, you will need to provide the
following information prior to the onsite visit:
- Birth date information
on all occupants in the home or office,
including time of birth, if possible;
- Date your home was constructed
and the dates of any significant and substantial
renovations were made
- A scaled floor plan
of the building
When
We Meet
Essentially
what I will be doing is surveying your space
accurately from a Feng Shui perspective.
Our consultation will begin with a confidential interview where
your life issues will be discussed and what you hope to achieve
through the consultation. We will take a detailed tour of the
interior and exterior of the property and I will take some
measurements and calculations using my Lo Pan Compass. A consultation
will include the following:
- Determination of your
best or lucky directions for sleeping,
working and relaxing using the Ming Kwa
astrological system.
- An assessment of the
energy influencing the property. Your auspicious
and inauspicious segments will be determined
and recommendations given to enhance the
good areas and drain the negative influences.
- Development of a Flying
Star Chart for the building which is similar
to the astrological chart of the building
and incorporates the element of time.
- Tips on clutter clearing
- A detailed written report
and a follow up telephone conversation
to ensure that the details of the report
are clear.
Buying
a new home?
Once you have
narrowed your search down to 2 options, I will
visit each location to determine which home
is energetically the best choice for you. I
will spend approximately 1 hour at each location.
Building
or renovating?
If you are building
or renovating, it’s best that I work
with your Architects and Designers from the
very beginning and throughout the project.
This will ensure that the end result is in
balance with your particular situation.
Moving
into a new space?
This consultation
is done in two parts. I usually recommend the
first visit once the place is empty. During
this initial consultation we will discuss room
use and color palette. If required, a space
clearing will be performed to remove old or
negative energy that may exist from the previous
owner. The second part of the consultation
happens once you have moved in with your furniture
and personal items. It will include a final
adjustment of the energy balance in your new
space.
